What we collect, and what we do with it.
The short version: we collect what you give us so we can reply, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. The longer version is below.

Who we are
Digital Waymark is a web design and marketing company in Valdosta, Georgia. This policy covers digitalwaymark.com and the ways we handle information about people who visit it, contact us, or become clients. Questions about it can go to info@digitalwaymark.com.
What we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we receive what you type: your name, business, email address, phone number if you include it, and your message. We use it to reply and to talk with you about the work. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence the way any business does.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider records ordinary server information such as your IP address, browser, the pages you view, and the time of the visit. We use it to keep the site running and secure. If we add analytics or advertising tools, they may set cookies or collect similar usage information; if that happens, we'll update this policy and add a way to opt out where the law calls for one.
We don't collect payment card numbers on this site. Clients pay through an invoicing or payment provider that handles card details under its own security and privacy terms.
How we use it
To reply to you, to prepare an estimate or plan, to do the work you hire us for, to send invoices and keep the records a business is required to keep, and to follow up about our services when you've contacted us. We won't add you to a newsletter you didn't ask for.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they process information on our behalf: the company that hosts this site, the email service that delivers contact form messages, the customer relationship software we use to keep track of leads and clients (HubSpot), and our invoicing and accounting tools. Each is bound by its own privacy commitments and only gets what it needs to do its job.
For client work we may also set up accounts with third parties on your behalf, such as Google, Meta, Shopify, or HubSpot. Information in those accounts is governed by their policies, and the accounts are yours.
We'll disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case the new owner is bound by this policy.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages and correspondence are kept as long as we're talking or working together, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back. Client records are kept as long as tax and business record-keeping rules require. Server logs are kept only briefly.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@digitalwaymark.com and we'll take care of it within a reasonable time, unless we're required to keep something for legal or accounting reasons. You can stop follow-up from us at any time by saying so.
This site is meant for businesses and the adults who run them. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and we keep access to the tools that hold your information limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care, and if a breach ever affects your information we'll tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated policy.
